Winners of the 29th Annual Housing Excellence Awards

Saskatoon, SK (February 5, 2021) – The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association presented the 29th Annual Housing Excellence Awards via virtual presentation on February 5, 2021.
The Housing Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of the Association’s professional members who continue to advance the residential construction industry and offer quality, affordability, and choice of housing to consumers.
The awards are designed to celebrate the variety of ways in which these companies continually raise the standard for quality workmanship and professionalism in the industry. Award winners have been chosen by an international panel of judges made up of Home Builders’ Association professional members from across North America.
Some highlights of the evening include North Ridge Development Corporation taking away the coveted “Certified Professional Home Builder of the Year” recognition, and North Ridge Renovations being awarded “Certified Professional RenoMark Renovator of the Year”. Competition has been steadily increasingly with this year showing a very tight race for some of the most coveted prizes. There was only a 0.1% difference between the CPHB of the Year and its the runner up, and only a 3 % difference between the top three finalists. “It’s clear Certified Professional Home Builders’ provide quality housing over the rest and we are really proud that become very obvious in all the submissions we see for the Housing Excellence Awards,” comments Chris Guérette, CEO of the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association.
Other highlights included Prairie ICF taking home the first ever “Trade Partner of the Year” award and Yufeng Wang of Baydo Development Corporation being honoured as “Ambassador of the Year” for his many contributions to the residential construction industry over the past decade.
