Dennis Johnson brings extensive experience at the intersection of construction, education, and strategic leadership to his new role as Energy Program Consultant & Engagement Manager at the Home Builders Association. Dennis began in construction immediately following high school, holds a Red Seal in carpentry, and has early experience as a builder, spanning both residential and commercial projects. He later moved into post-secondary education, teaching apprenticeship and residential construction before moving into program and curriculum design and later administration. He went on to serve in leadership positions at post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan and BC before moving into management consulting in 2024.

Alongside his construction credentials, Dennis holds degrees focused on adult education and administration. His background in construction and education has equipped him to support member engagement, oversee energy-focused initiatives, and collaborate with the building community. Leveraging these skill sets, Dennis is eager to support Home Builders Association members in optimizing energy efficiency practices, encouraging continued professional development, and promoting sustainable building solutions throughout the province.
