Clayton Barry, lawyer, first joined McDougall Gauley LLP as an articling student in 2005, where he continued on as an associate, eventually becoming a partner in 2012. He brings with him extensive legal experience in relation to the residential construction industry, with his areas of practice including (but not limited to) commercial and residential real estate and development, condominium law, and acting as corporate counsel for various home builders.

When Clayton isn’t busy with his legal practice or volunteering, he contributes actively to the community with his wife, Heidi, and their three children, aged 12, 10, and 7, for whom Clayton coaches soccer and hockey. The Barry family are active members of the Holy Family Catholic Parish here in Saskatoon.

Clayton brings with him an abundance of board-related experience. His seven years serving as a board member for Habitat for Humanity culminated in a two-year term as chair from 2014-2016, and he is a current member of the Board for the TD Soccer Academy. He also continues to serve as a board member with the Saskatchewan Transportation Association, as his family has been involved in the trucking industry in Saskatchewan for over 80 years and Clayton himself currently maintains a valid Class 1A license.

Clayton joined the Association Board in 2017.
