Finalists for the 29th Annual Housing Excellence Awards Presented by
Saskatoon, SK (January 12, 2021) – The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association is pleased to announce this year’s finalists for the 29th Housing Excellence Awards – Saskatoon & Region.
The Housing Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of the Association’s professional members who continue to advance the goals of the residential construction industry and offer housing quality, affordability and choice in Saskatoon & Region.
The awards are designed to celebrate the variety of ways in which these companies continually raise the standard for quality workmanship and professionalism in the industry. Finalists and award winners have been chosen by an international panel of judges made up of Home Builders’ Association professional members from across North America.
This year, the Association had the second highest number of submissions in the Award’s history, across five different award categories. “We can confidently say that the quality and competitiveness of these submissions continue to push the standard of excellence to a new level,” comments Chris Guérette, CEO of the Association. The region pulled approximately 2200 housing permits and 3000 renovation permits in 2020. In Saskatoon alone, that’s 1.2 billion in investment value in our region and over 10,200 jobs. “That’s a lot of competition but also a lot to celebrate,” ended Guérette.
This year, perhaps more than ever, applicants and finalists should be very proud of their accomplishments” continued Guérette, “and the Association is here to showcase and celebrate the many achievements of the professionals we have here.”
Winners of the awards in the categories below, along with the coveted titles of Certified Professional Home Builder of the Year, Certified Professional RenoMark Renovator of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and the new Trade Partner of the Year, will be presented at the 29th Annual Housing Excellence Awards virtual ceremony on February 5th, 2021.
